As the demand and the need of using computer media effectively are increasing nowadays, Asian Center for Engineering Computation and Software (ACECOMS) - Asian Institute Technology, Bangkok has developed Satellite Center in Indonesia namely at Petra Christian University, Civil Engineering Department. As the first Satellite Center in Indonesia, Civil Engineering Department-Petra Christian University is committed to develop and involve directly and actively in global micro computer. One of these active roles is to hold a tutorial on Structural Analysis & Design of Concrete Structures Using GRASP, BATS 2000 and GEAR.
PURPOSE
To describe theoretical background and practical knowledge in computer aided modeling, analysis and design from various structural types. To introduce and train the participants on the effective usage of modern graphical computing tools modeling, analysis and design from various structural types. Especially for academic group (lecturer and student), this tutorial is very useful to support the completion of structure analysis (technical mechanic) assignment and concrete framework plan (concrete structure).
